40 government officials from 7 states of India attended the workshop from July 24-25, 2023: 17 were outside of Delhi, 14 were NCDC (11 from Division of Epidemiology), and 8 were CDC. Facilitators were experts from NCDC, U.S CDC in India, and SAFETYNET India.
SAFETYNET has supported NCDC both technically and logistically for mentor workshop. During this workshop, SAFETYNET program adviser for India, Dr. Sushma Choudhary, Dr Mohan Kumar, Dr Satish Kumar, Dr Kumbha Gopi, Mr Naveen, Mr Dipak Varma participated as a facilitator/trainer/logistic support in the India EIS mentor workshop.
