1. Field Epidemiology Training Programs (FETPs)

We strengthen public health systems by building skilled field epidemiologists.

  • Supported the establishment of FETPs in 13 countries, training over 5,000 professionals across frontline, intermediate, and advanced levels.

  • Conducted more than 120 training cohorts across the region.

  • Delivered mentoring and specialized workshops in over 10 countries.

 

2. Regional and National Collaboration Platforms

We connect experts and institutions to foster learning and collaboration.

  • Organized 7 Asia-Pacific FETP Scientific Conferences since 2011, bringing together 1,500+ delegates.

  • Co-hosted 20+ national FETP conferences with Ministries of Health.

  • Facilitated 80+ webinars and thematic forums for ongoing knowledge exchange.

 

3. Digital Transformation and Innovation

We leverage technology to expand access to learning and surveillance tools.

  • Deployed a regional learning management system (LMS) accessed by 3,000+ learners annually.

  • Supported surveillance platforms in Indonesia, reaching 12,000+ health officers.

  • Piloted massive open online courses (MOOCs) training up to 3,000 learners per quarter.

 

4. Workforce Development and Leadership Building

We invest in the next generation of public health leaders.

  • Trained 500+ mentors and 100+ trainers through workshops and training-of-trainers (TOTs).

  • Provided mini-grants to 50+ FETP alumni for field implementation projects.

  • Supported leadership fellowships in 5 countries.

 

5. Strategic Partnerships and Technical Leadership

We drive impact through collaboration and knowledge leadership.

  • Participated in 20+ Joint External Evaluations (JEE) and health security assessments.

  • Developed technical content and accreditation frameworks for 6 FETPs.

  • Supported the publication of 100+ scientific papers by trainees and alumni.
