Country Highlights

Bangladesh

  • Partnered with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, IEDCR, ICDDRB, Save the Children, Department of Health Services, and 12 City Health Offices.

  • Trained 250+ city health staff in the past 3 years.

  • Organized and digitized 150+ public health policy documents for easier access and use.

  • Piloted dengue admission and monitoring tools in 3 major cities.

 

Cambodia

  • Partnered with the Ministry of Health and WHO Cambodia.

  • Trained 180+ surveillance officers through FETP Frontline Cohorts 3–5.

  • Trained 60+ mid-level epidemiologists through Intermediate FETP cohorts.

  • Supported graduates with 10 mini-grants for field-level improvements.

  • Co-hosted a national conference with 300+ participants in 2024.

 

India

  • Partnered with the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, NCDC, WHO India, University of Singapore, University of Newcastle, and DataLEADS.

  • Supported 40+ FETP cohorts, benefiting 2,000+ fellows.

  • Deployed an LMS across 10 FETP hubs with 800+ active users.

  • Conducted 5 national workshops on scientific writing, data analytics, and AI readiness.

  • Hosted 4 pandemic preparedness roundtables with 75+ participating agencies.

 

Indonesia

  • Partnered with the Ministry of Health, BBPK Ciloto, PAEI, UGM, Bappenas, and US CDC.

  • LMS and surveillance platform reached 12,000+ users nationwide.

  • EWARS MOOC trained 6,000+ officers in 2 provinces.

  • Supported 6 mini-grants, strengthening 40 health units.

  • PopCAB mapping trained 90 officers, enhancing cross-border surveillance.

 

Malaysia

  • Partnered with the Ministry of Health, University Malaysia Sabah, and HAYAT Technologies.

  • Implemented SOHOT One Health training with 4 ministries, 25 mentors, and 150 trainees.

 

Nepal

  • Partnered with the Ministry of Health and Population and NHTC.

  • Trained 185 frontline fellows, covering 90% of districts nationwide.

  • Developed 4 national mentor training programs, training 79 mentors.

 

Philippines

  • Partnered with the Department of Health, regional hospitals, and WHO.

  • Conducted 5 Disease Surveillance Officer cohorts (June–Sept 2025) with 125 participants.

  • Supported 30 fellows through Intermediate FETP in 2025.

  • Implemented CRS surveillance in 5 major hospitals.

 

Vietnam

  • Partnered with the Ministry of Health, Pasteur Institutes, and WHO Vietnam.

  • Supported 8 Advanced FETP cohorts with 33 graduates.

  • Implemented 6 national Frontline cohorts, training 150+ officers.

  • Delivered Applied Management Training for 57 alumni from 19 provinces.

  • COVID-19 response tools adopted by 50+ MoH teams.
