SAFETYNET Bangladesh in Collaboration with DGHS and US-CDC arranged a two-days workshop for screening and culminating opinion regarding the Public Health Policy Mapping Program from 21 - 22 January, 2025 at DGHS conference room. 32 national and international experts from different organizations participated in-person. The workshop was conducted by 4 sessions in 2 days where all expert work in 4 different groups. Experts reviewed, discussed and bestowed their valuable feedback, recommendation, and comments on the collected documents and agreed on actionable next steps for Public Health Policy Documentation.
Senior leadership from the DGHS and other organizations engaged in the workshops and were listed in the experts’ list. SAFETYNET team documented details of all comments, critics and opinions respectively. The implementing team will address the comments by next one month and will report to DGHS accordingly.
The workshop successfully brought together diverse expertise, leading to actionable outcomes that will guide the next phase of Public Health Policy Documentation of MoH&FW, Bangladesh.
