Flinders Distinguished Professor and Director of the Torrens Resilience Initiative at Flinders University, titled: “Risk Assessment for Deliberate Biothreat Events”.

Deliberate biothreat events present unique inter-sectoral challenges that require coordinated responses across public health, medical, laboratory, and security sectors.

This webinar will discuss the considerations for how to risk assess for deliberate events, including contextual and technical factors. The session will also cover impact assessment, including risk of spread, health system preparedness, and access to medical countermeasures such as vaccines.
