Call for Papers: Advancing Global Cardiovascular Disease Epidemiology: Evidence from the Field

In honor of the second World Field Epidemiology Day on September 7, 2022, TEPHINET and the Office of Global Noncommunicable Diseases of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are spearheading a special journal supplement to highlight global cardiovascular field epidemiology research.

We will consider manuscripts describing the burden or evaluation of interventions and strategies to address cardiovascular disease (CVD) and associated risk factors, particularly hypertension, salt intake, and eliminating trans fatty acids from the food supply.

We invite Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) residents in their second year, and recent FETP graduates, to submit a pre-submission enquiry for this important and timely publication. This information will allow us to determine the suitability of your paper.

Deadline for pre-submission enquiries: January 7, 2022

Selected authors who qualify for full manuscript submission will be notified by January 31, 2022. Selected authors will be asked to submit a completed draft by March 31, 2022 and their full final manuscript by no later than May 31, 2022.
