As part of the first World Field Epidemiology Day, SAFETYNET will be hosting an online video
conference on the 7th and 8th of September 2021.
The aim of the conference is to highlight the activities of FETP trainees within the Asia Pacific
Region whereby trainees will present their work through video presentations.
The auspicious day will be officiated by SAFETYNET Executive Director, Dr. Maria Consorcia
Quizon, followed by remarks from the TEPHINET Representative for the Western Pacific Region,
Dr. Martyn Kirk, and Dr. Manoj Murhekar, TEPHINET Representative for the Southeast Asia
Region.
Before the participants present their work, there will be a 10 minutes video montage of field
epidemiology training programs in action. It is a compilation of pictures and video clips of FETP
trainees learning by doing under supervision by their mentors.
