R training scholarship opportunity for public health teams in LMICs

Applied Epi is delighted to announce its 2025 R Scholarships for teams working in applied epidemiology and public health in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).

Awarded teams receive comprehensive support to transition to R, including free or discounted access to Applied Epi’s Intro to R course and R Support Desk. Scholarship courses are available in English only.


Application Period: 20 January – 10 February Details and Application: www.appliedepi.org


Eligibility Requirements:

  • Apply on behalf of a team of 1-20 people* (e.g. branch, division, etc.)

  • Be located in a low- or middle-income country

  • Belong to a government agency or an operations-oriented NGO

  • Perform work in public health or epidemiology that is applied and data-oriented

  • Have the support of the organization’s senior leadership
