Last 30 Nov 2022, The US CDC, SAFETYNET, Save the Children and LGRD Ministry organised a day-long conference entitled "City Leadership Summit to Strengthen the Urban Public Health System". SAFETYNET took the leading role in organizing this event on behalf of the US CDC.
A culmination of 6 months of efforts from US CDC in bringing city mayors and administrative leadership to the table to further prioritize urban health public issues, this event was attended by the Honorable LGRD Minister Tazul Islam, USA Ambassador H.E. Peter Haas, and the mayors of different City corporations, as well as other policy makers, public health experts, administrators, and other stakeholders.
