[SAFETYNET India] EIS Scientific Writing Workshop conducted in NCDC, Delhi, September 04-07, 2023

India Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) Program Scientific writing workshop is conducted by National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Delhi, to help the trainees become more effective communicators of vital public health information and research findings.


Activities: Scientific writing style, literature review, managing references with Zotero, ethical writing, executive summary.


25 (14 EIS officers, and 14 coaches) attended the workshop from Sept 04-07, 2023: Facilitators were experts from SAFETYNET and India.


SAFETYNET has supported NCDC both technically and logistically for scientific writing workshop. During this workshop, SAFETYNET program adviser for India, Dr. Sushma Choudhary, Dr. Mohan Kumar, Dr. Gopi Kumbha, Mr. Naveen, Mr. Dipak Varma participated as a facilitator/ trainer/ logistic support in the India EIS scientific writing workshop.
