The ASEAN-Australia Health Security Fellowship Program at the Australian National University (ANU) is offering scholarships for FETP trainers/supervisors/mentors and alumni from ASEAN countries to undergo an introductory 'R' online training course. R is a free, open-source analytical software. The Introductory R training workshop will be led by experienced trainers from the not-for-profit organisation ‘Applied Epi’ (https://appliedepi.org/), and coordinated by Australian FETP staff. This will be a 5 week course with virtual training sessions two times per week.
Eligible candidates are those who:
have experience in applied epidemiology or data analysis
have strong Microsoft Excel skills with some existing experience with SPSS, Epi Info or similar software
are public health practitioners
have proficiency in English
Note: applicants do NOT have to have prior R coding experience.
