The conference was organized by India Public Health Association (IPHA) at Biswa Bangla Convention Center in Kolkata. 12 FETP Intermediate trainees (Five from IFETP-NCD cohort-1, four from IFETP Odisha cohort-1, and three from IFETP Chhattisgarh cohort-1) from ICMR-NIE did ten posters and three oral presentations. Four FETP mentors from ICMR-NIE and SAFETYNET India accompanied the FETP trainees to guide and help the trainees to prepare and present well.
SAFETYNET supported both technically and logistically for multiple national and international level conferences. During this conference, SAFETYNET technical officer Dr Srinath Ram, consultant Dr Mogan KA and the program manager at ICMR-NIE participated as a mentor and coordinator in the contact session.
